Molas, as they are known, are decorative apparel fabrics made by women of the Kuna indigenous communities of Panama and Colombia. Each fabric is the particular design of the artisan woman who carefully crafts it. The Women use the Molas to decorate their shirts and each Mola is a representation of the Kuna culture, beliefs and traditions. Some tell a story and depict animals, people or situations, and others are abstract designs.

Traditional

The Mola fabrics we use are sourced from indigenous cooperatives in the Northern regions of Colombia and Panama.

High-Quality

All clutches are made from 100% hand-sewn cotton. Most also include a durable yute fiber interior for everyday use.

Ethical

Each bag is hand-crafted. Our process supports, preserves and encourages artisan women and their traditions.

Chic

Traditional Mola fabrics are individually selected for their character and curated for each appropriate collection.

See What's Inside

Each handbag is made with the finest materials from Colombia. The inside fabric is a resilient yute fiber that gives you functionality for everyday use.
